On April 17, 2019 the University Police Department received a report of an alleged robbery by fear with no weapon used, that occurred outside SCC building 1300. On Monday April 15, 2019 at approximately 3:30 pm a student was approached on foot by the suspect, who repeatedly demanded money for a charity. The student declined numerous times, but ultimately feared for his safety and gave the suspect $75.00.
The suspect told the student his name was Timothy Lacey and was described as a male black, with a dark complexion and balding, 40 to 50 years old, approximately 6 feet tall, 200 pounds wearing a navy blue polo shirt and blue jeans.
This Notice is in compliance with 20 U.S.C. Section 1092(f), the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act” (Clery Act), and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
