The CSUDH Police Dispatch Center is staffed by fully trained police dispatchers who are P.O.S.T. (Peace Officer Standards and Training) certified, which is the same certification as all municipal police or sheriff’s department dispatchers within the State of California. The Dispatch Center is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by one of our dispatchers.
The dispatchers answer both emergency and non-emergency calls for service, as well as 9-1-1 calls. They answer the phones, help people who walk in at the front counter, and monitor radio traffic from police and parking officers.
